I Forgot to Tell You!

Hi guys,

Hey guys, I forgot to tell you a couple of things yesterday. First of all, I have started giving mom baby "kisses". I usually grab her by the hair or cheeks and suck on her face! She says that it's slimy, but I love my mom! Speaking of loving my mom, I am also starting to get into a phase of separation anxiety. I do ok playing on my own when mom is in sight, but the minute she goes around the corner I start crying. If she walks close enough for me to touch her I freak out and try as hard as I can to get her leg! I don't even like to let dad hold me at night when he gets home. Mom has had to say right by him so that I don't cry and then I spend most of the time leaning over and trying to get her. Don't get me wrong, I love dad too...but I do better playing with him in the mornings!

Here are a couple of pictures that we took yesterday after I posted my blog...

This is one of all of the "kids"

Here is one of me eating the famous "bitter biscuit"

That's all for now. It's a rainy day so we're wearing comfy clothes and staying home. Maybe I'll consider taking a nap...alone!

(By Mom)
While the pictures we downloading Moxon was fussing on the floor. He fell asleep in the middle of all of his toys before I got to a stopping point to get him. It's funny 'cause he is wearing a 24mo. Oshkosh sweat suit that is just a bit to long for him. He sucked his arms and legs inside of the body of the outfit! Cute baby=) Maybe since this is the second time that he has fallen asleep on his own for the morning nap, we are on our way to independent sleeping!!!!

Hi Everyone!
I'm 32 weeks old now and still growing big. My little tooth is all the way through now. It still isn't very big, and it is hard for other people to see. I've been smacking and chewing my gums like there is food in there. It is hard to get used to this new feeling of a tooth. Mom bought me some "Bitter Biscuts" to suck/gum. We were warned that they are messy, and boy are they! I like to eat them and they entertain me for several minutes. I have also tried crackers but I don't like them as much. I'm still working on choking down baby food. Some evenings I have been eating a whole jar, but other days I still don't want any.
I am also still having a hard time sleeping. Lately I've been waking up every hour until mom gives in and puts me in her bed. I am not wide awake in the middle of the night anymore though. (that stage lasted about a week) I just like to nurse and be with mom I guess. She has tried making me suck on pacifiers, but I HATE them and usually start crying if she sticks one in my mouth. I guess I'm being difficult, but hey...I'm a baby!! Mom said that she is going to buy me a "lovey" like Joey's snowman blanket and maybe if I get attached to that it will help. For now I am using a hand-me-down worn out lovey of Joey's. We'll see how that works out for me.
I did fall asleep on mom's bed last Sunday while she was getting ready for church. Dad turned on the ceiling fan and Joey was playing with mom's phone right next to me. I guess that the combination had some sort of soothing effect on me!
Yesterday we got to drive to Dayton to see Austin and go on a play date/Halloween party at one of his friend's houses. He wore Joey's frog costume from when he was a baby. He looked really cute. I just wore a haloween-ish outfit since mom thought I would be too hot in my costume. You'll have to see my blog next week to see what I am dressing up as. This weekend is trick-or-treat in town. Joey is going to go door-to-door and I am just going to sit in the wagon and go for a ride. I think that I get to help carve my pumpkin soon too. Halloween sure has a lot of activities for kids!!
I haven't waved any more since last week, so I guess that I am still working on that. I am also working on sitting up on my own, but for now it's still baby-crunches! I can't wait to get my walking papers and run around with Joey. He's always getting into something fun!
I think that is about all for now. I am going to go and try to nap on my own! I haven't slept all day!!!

You Won't Believe It!

It finally happened...I sprouted my first tooth!! It just started poking through this morning, but last night it was hurting me pretty bad. I didn't sleep too good until mom slept with me. I'm hoping that it hurries on in! Now maybe mom and dad will stop asking when I'm ever going to get teeth. 30 weeks without teeth was nice! I've been using my teething rings and I finally understand what they're for! I have also been practicing picking up cereal and "puffs". Tonight mom even gave me some crackers to gum. They were really good and kept me entertained for a while. I didn't eat much of them, but they were new to me.

I have also outgrown my duck tub. Mom got pictures of me lounging and trying to get my back wet. Every time she sits me up, I just wiggle my way back down into the water. The other night she had the idea to let me take a bath in the smaller tub with Joey. It was a lot of fun. At first I was scared of the loud water, but once they turned the faucet off it was really fun. I got to play with my duck and some of Joey's letters and toys. It was a great bath until Joey started to pee on me! Mom got me out just in time. I took another bath with him tonight and there was no peeing going on.

I also got to spend some time with Corona up close and personal! She came over and laid down with her paw on my leg. I investigated her toenails and she gave me a couple of kisses.

I also might have learned how to wave this morning. When dad was leaving for work he waved at me and mom and Joey waved at me too. I laughed at them (they looked silly) and then opened and closed my hand back at them. Mom said that I'll have to do it again some soon for it to count as a new "trick".

That's about all from me for now. Tomorrow I get to pick up my Halloween pictures.

A Lot To Tell You!

Hey Everyone,

I am having a really great day. This morning Joey went to work with dad so it has been just mom and me at home!! I took a really long morning nap and then woke up in a great mood. I've been trying to play with a lot of new toys that mom unpacked for me. Joey usually wants to play too, but today I don't have to share! I've been investigating my light up stack rings, all of the animals on my blanket, the animal train, and much more. I am a pro at rolling from my tummy to my back now. If I accidentally fall over when I'm sitting I just flip right over. Mom has been trying to get me to spend time on my tummy, but I have other plans!

I'm also getting to like baby food a little more. I've been eating about 1 jar of food every evening. (except last night...I think that mom tried to feed me broccoli! I just ate a couple of bites!) This morning I didn't have tummy medicine. Hopefully the food and sitting up will be enough to keep the reflux away. If not, I can still get more of my prescription.

I've been helping mom a lot around the house. We've been working on painting her bathroom. She usually paints while Joey and I are sleeping, but if I'm awake I get to stand at my walker table and help her tape and do things that don't stink! She's almost done, and then we're going to work on the kitchen.

This past weekend we ended up not going to Purdue. Instead we all watched the game in the basement. I was on the couch with dad and very interested in what was going on. Joey sat on his monkey chair with his big Purdue foam finger. At least he can't get me with that one! We lost, but it was fun spending the day with dad. Here is a picture of me watching the game with my animals...

Then on Sunday after church we went down the road to the pumpkin patch. We took the wagon and I went on my first ride. Joey did more of the activities that I did, so he can tell you about it in his blog. We took a hay ride back to the pumpkin patch and dad helped me pick a pumpkin. Mine weighed in at 2 pounds and looks like a peanut! You can see it later on when we carve them. Joey picked a HUGE 22 pounder that had to ride in the wagon with me! Check out the stem, it may as well be a cucumber! We also went in the corn maze. Dad wanted to take me through in my wagon, which was hard to do! I loved playing with the corn leaves and even tore one apart as we walked around.

Yesterday I turned 7 months old and weighed in at 22 pounds...still growing! Story time is going again so we went to that. There was another little baby and some other kids younger than Joey. After the library I fell asleep while Mom and Joey ate a snack at Butlers Bakery and then we walked across the street to the park. It was a good day in the nice weather. It's raining today, so maybe our grass will start growing!

I think that is about all for now. Here are a couple more cute pictures...
