37 weeks
I've also been liking to eat things that are normally just o.k. by me. Joey and I have gone through a jar of peanut butter in about 2 weeks. I gave him a PB&J one day and decided I would just eat one since I couldn't think of anything better to have. Now I get a craving for one at lunch (but only if there is some co-jack cheese to eat too!). Tonight I also ate Stove Top Stuffing for dinner. I have never liked it, but I guess it was pretty good. I've also been wanting to make banana bread but had to wait all week for the bananas to get soft enough. It smelled so good in the oven...again, I've never been a huge fan of the fruit let alone anything made with it! It's good and Joey liked the banana "birthday cake" too.
I think that's about all of the news for now. Sorry there's no tummy picture, I'm sure that it hasn't changed a whole lot from one week ago! I'll get another one next week!
Check back Thursday!

A-OK!
I had my 36.5 week appointment today. Joey and I went by ourselves and he did a really good job behaving himself. All of the nurses at the office love him. He just kept saying "Dr. Barb?"...(that's my OB's husband and Joey's pediatritian, for those who don't know). We went to see Dr. Barb last week when he was sick! Anyway, the baby's heartbeat sounds good, and the kid is still head-down. My BP is perfect and so are my platelets! No more blood tests for me=). I go back again next Thursday and every Thursday after that until the baby gets here...only 3 weeks or so left! Hopefully the little one decides to come out early. We're all ready physically, but maybe not quite mentally! I'm tired of the ligament pains, and leg cramps, and back pain. I can't wait to feel "normal" again and be able to crawl around the basement with the kids! Poor Joey always wants mommy to come in the pet shop or giraffe and I have to tell him mommy's too fat to fit! Oh well, we still find ways to have fun while I sit on the couch!
That's about all for now...

34 weeks...
This past weekend I had a pretty interesting episode of Braxton Hicks contractions, (I think). I didn't have any with Joey, but I'm pretty sure that's all that was going on. The baby felt really low and was putting pressure on my back. A lot of fluids and rest made things all better by Sunday morning. Later Andy told me that he was thinking to himself that we'd be making a trip to the hospital that night=). False alarm! For now, the baby will keep cooking! I've been taking it easy all week and resting since I'm a little sick and Joey's been really sick. We just cuddle and relax most of the day. This has also been helping with the ligament pains. I think we just about have everything ready for the baby to come, and the hospital bags are packed. Now we just need to get the car seat in the van and wait...
Today I had another OB appointment. The baby sounds good and is "head-down"! Dr. Chung says that the pains this weekend sound like Braxton Hicks to her too. She also said that my platelet count from last week was 134 (thousand I think) and 135 is what they consider to be the lowest level of "normal". I'm just out of that range. I got another blood test today to see what they are this week. She said that I shouldn't have any problems with these numbers, but if they go too low I probably won't be able to have an epidural and they would need to know if case of bleeding complications in labor. For now, we're fine though. She is having me come back every week now until the baby is born. If the platelets are low again from this week, I'll have another blood test next week again to keep track of them. Other than that it'll be a routine appointment as usual! Only a few weeks of this left!!!
That's about all of the baby news for now...we'll keep you updated!

(Oh, and we plan on taking the laptop with us to the hospital to download new baby pics, so you'll be able to see the little one as soon as possible!!!)
