Well, mom bought me one of the sleep sacks and I have been taking better naps and sleeping longer at night. Before I would rub my eyes and hit myself in the face with my arms during the night and wake myself up. Now Mom swaddles me up like a little baby burrito.
Sometimes my arms are tucked inside and some times they are free. I usually don't like getting put into it, but once I fall asleep it's nice and cozy! Mom also had to put the bumper back on the front side of the crib. Twice now I've woken up in the middle of the night with my body against the rails and one arm sticking out! Once she fixes me I fall back asleep. Most nights I go to bed, just after Joey, around 7:30pm. I wake up around 5:30 and get to go in bed with mom until Joey gets up at 7!
It's a good thing that I've been getting a lot of sleep because I've been spending time in the fields with dad. It's straw season and we went to visit him the other day. It was dinner time when we got there, so mom sat on top of a straw bale to nurse me, and then I had a "to go" meal of sweet potatoes and rice while I was in my car seat on top of another bale! It was fun eating outside.
After dinner we were all packed up to go and I started to cry. Mom gave me a paci and I started to hold it by myself! I don't like to use a paci very often, but they are good teethers!
Then the next day we went to another field and I got to have my first tractor ride!
It was neat being up high, but after I ate my bottle I fell asleep for most of it. Oh well, it was so relaxing and warm in the cab.
I'm getting into a very grabby stage, so beware! Mom keeps my nails cut short, but I tend to pinch onto whatever I can get my hands on. Usually it is mom's cheeks or neck. Sometimes I get hair, and she doesn't like that either! I am also still working on rolling over. I got frustrated today when mom was getting Joey ready for lunch. I started to fuss and I got way over on my side. I did this several times and even got my legs all of the way flipped over. I get stuck on my arm so I don't quite make it over yet. Mom tried to show me how to get my arm out of the way, so I'll just keep practicing.

I had a fun time with my tummy time too. I'm getting better and better at pushing up with my arms. Joey keeps talking about crawling, but I don't think I'm ready for that yet!
Yesterday I turned 20 weeks and I have successfully finished eating applesauce and sweet potatoes. Tomorrow I get to try squash or carrots. Which should I pick? I'm still trying food in the mornings at evenings, but sometimes I don't eat very much. Mom just tells me that I should at least try to get some in. She's still doing all sorts of crazy things to get me to open my mouth!!
