Hey Everybody!

I'm 25 weeks old now, can you believe it! On the 7th I'll be 6 months old already. I'm sitting in my high chair every day working on the baby food thing. I still don't like it very much. If I ate more I might be able to sleep longer at night. Mom is also giving me bottles before bed at night. Sometimes I don't want the bottle and so she tricks me into taking it when I've almost nursed myself to sleep. I'm not always sleeping through the night. Sometimes I wake up around 12 or 1 for a snack. My teeth and tummy have been bothering me too, so that doesn't help either.

Speaking of my tummy, I have an appointment with the specialist at the end of the month to possibly get off of my medicine. I also have an appointment with Dr. Barb for my check up and shots. Mom thinks I weigh around 19.5 lbs right now, but we'll see what happens at the office.

I have also been working on my rolling over. I get onto my tummy pretty easily, but haven't figured out how to flip back over. My latest trick is sitting up on my own. I can sit for a couple of minutes without any support. When mom puts this pillow around me, it is just enough to keep me up. The view is great up here and I can play with my toys better too.
This is a picture of me relaxing after a "sitting session". I'm a cute one!
I am also liking my bath better. I've starting lounging, kicking my legs, and splashing water all over mom. She usually covers up with a towel so that I don't soak her. Now I just need a few bath toys and I'll be set!
I'm interested in my doggy now too. She is always sniffing around where I am playing. She's pretty funny looking, but Joey seems to have fun with her. Maybe we can play together soon too!

Today we went to Great Aunt Linda's new house for a tour and a picnic outside. Mom set my blanket in some soft green grass and I got to relax and look at the blowing trees. It was so nice. I don't think we have grass like that at our house! I even flipped over and gave it a feel. It was pretty silly feeling, but I liked it. Joey threw some grass all over me and mom made us stop playing!

Then Grandma fed me my bottle and I started holding it all by myself! Mom said that pretty soon she will let me try out my new sippy cup!
I think that is about all that has happened this week. Dad and Justin (one of his farm workers) sprayed our yard to kill all of the grass and weeds. I guess we are getting all new grass in a couple of weeks. Maybe it will be soft and I can play in it next summer. I'll let you know how the project comes along!
