32 Weeks

Hey Everyone,

We've made it to 32 weeks. Only (+/-) 8 more weeks to go!!!! We're all moved in to the new house now. I decided to have the baby's room painted tan with an accent wall of deep red. It matched the chair that used to be in Joey's farm room. Joey's in his big-boy bed so the crib has been moved to the new nursery. The dust ruffle is on the bed (and the animal sheet matches too!). Grandma D. even bought us the wall hangings that go to the bedding set so that we have something to decorate with! I've been going through the baby stuff with the help of Joey. We have all of the 0-3 mo. clothes, blankets, and toys out and washed. There are so many onesies, cute PJ's, and little itty-bitty socks! I've forgotten how small the newborn clothes are! Last night I made "bottle-soup" and got all of the feeding stuff put away in the cabinets. Now all that we have left is to wash the covers and seats to all of the baby gear and install the car seat.

Baby hasn't felt so small lately. It's been going nuts inside of me! During the day the movements have been a little painful and sometimes I have to lay down and switch positions to get the baby to stop doing whatever it is that it's doing! At night you can usually see all sorts of lumps and bumps poking around here and there. Right now there is a foot or hand running back and forth across the tummy. It's tickly and really funny to see.
We had an appointment again this week. I'm going every two weeks now. The babies heartbeat was in the 140's again and things sounded good. I had to get the blood test to check for anemia as well. They called today and said that my platelets are a little low. I guess I just have to get another blood test at my next check up to see what they do between now and then. They didn't seem to worried though. I guess it's pretty normal during pregnancies.

Joey is excited for the baby I think. He likes to hug and kiss "mommy's baby" and he sometimes pets it (like corona). I can't wait to see how he reacts when the baby is in his house! He's always interested in babies that he sees out in public. Soon he'll have one of his own! He's been interested in the littler kids at story time but he's not seen many babies as young as his new one will be!!
